Kwa Mashu is Durban's oldest township born out a the of force removal of Africans from Cator Manor by the racist Apartheid government. Through the brutality of the political violence, economic Apartheid and poverty Kwa Mashu has risen to the challenge to produce some of South Africa's greats.
